FINALLY GOT THAT DONE HUH
I was really unsure what lantern corps to put Sapphire in to be honest, while red seemed a pretty sound choice for Ruby. I was considering Indigo, which it would probably have been, if I didn't choose to just put both of them into the Star Sapphires in the end.
Why? Well, multiple reasons. For one "The Answer" happened, which was a great damn indicator for what their relationship was actually like and how Garnet got formed. Secondly, I still kind of wanted to draw a Star Sapphire Garnet (which I still might do in the future) and this is a pretty good compromise to me.
After all, Garnet might be made of love, but it's the love of the two that matters the most for Garnet's creation.
Oh and of course, Sapphire already shares her NAME with the corps!

you know, just in my mind, and always in my mind, I think Ruby wouldn't be part of the Star Sapphires, I think she would be part of the Red Lanterns.
she's angry a lot, she can get out of control, she's perfect for the red lantern corp.
I even thought about a even more tragic idea for Ruby being a red lantern corp, from the fact that red lantern rings replaces a user's blood with pure rage and the fact that gems has no blood, it instead replaces the Gem's gem with nothing but pure rage, meaning that Red Lantern Ruby would be made out of rage, it also means that she would no longer capable to fuse with Sapphire, meaning that Garnet would no longer exist.
I think this would be a good idea for a Red Lantern Ruby, but that's just my thought
